Job Summary

Ryder is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team as a Dedicated Solo Driver. This role offers a competitive pay package, including a weekly guarantee of $1060, with opportunities for bonuses and overtime pay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination on a dedicated solo route, delivering freight to customers in MS, AR, and TN.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading process as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test and background check, including a review of previous employers for the past 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
  • Hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements for the position.
  • Have at least 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
