Job Summary:

The Premium Bartender is a key member of our team at the Moody Center, responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to our guests. With a focus on providing a welcoming and professional atmosphere, this role requires a personable and skilled individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, adhering to responsible serving practices.
  • Prepare and present drinks according to standard recipes, maintaining high-quality standards and prudent portion control.
  • Set up and maintain assigned bars, requisitioning and stocking necessary supplies, including beer, wine, spirits, and condiments.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, requesting additional products or restocking as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, greeting and interacting with customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Detect and respond to guest inebriation, escalating situations to management or security as necessary.
  • Perform closing duties, including securing beverage products, food, equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

  • At least six months of experience bartending in high-volume environments.
  • Ability to accurately handle register and revenue collections through the POS system.
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
