Job Opportunity

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.

We are a certified Great Place to Work, providing contract physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology services to communities in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine the need for skilled speech therapy intervention, focusing on swallowing disorders, dysphagia, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that prioritize functional and measurable outcomes, adhering to professional standards of practice.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff through training programs and quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Current valid Speech Language Pathologist license to practice in the appropriate state.
