Position Summary:
As the public representative of Kimbrell's Furniture, the Sales Associate plays a crucial role in addressing all customer inquiries regarding the products and services offered by Kimbrell's. Sales Associates are expected to consistently enhance their understanding of the company's offerings, policies, and services while maintaining a professional demeanor that reflects Kimbrell's dedication to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers in a polite and professional manner, providing relevant information about our home furnishings and products.
- Efficiently address customer concerns to ensure optimal client satisfaction.
- Meet established sales targets and strive to exceed them.
- Guide customers to merchandise throughout the store.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge.
- Keep the sales floor organized and visually appealing.
- Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers.
- Cross-sell products to enhance purchase values.
- Cultivate trustworthy relationships with customers to encourage future sales.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional selling, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Ability to identify furniture by number, color, or description from invoices and accurately complete sales contracts.
- Competence in reading and following assembly instructions for home furnishings, as well as assembling merchandise for display and delivery.
- Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours as required.
- Adherence to all Kimbrell's Furniture policies and procedures.
- Commitment to acting in the best interest of Kimbrell's at all times and cooperating fully in any company investigations.
Fluency in English/Spanish is preferred. The responsibilities listed above are representative of the Sales Associate role and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.
Compensation:
$35,000 - $70,000.00 per year
