Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personalized Learning Assistant to join our team at Battle Creek Montessori Academy.

As a key member of our instructional staff, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to students, fostering a love for learning, and promoting academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with children and adults, and demonstrate a commitment to the principles of the Montessori method.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Student Learning: Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring each student receives tailored instruction and support.
  • Classroom Management: Assist teachers in maintaining a well-organized and engaging classroom environment, promoting responsible behavior and encouraging active participation.
  • Communication: Establish strong relationships with parents, guardians, and colleagues, communicating effectively about student progress and needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher required; teaching certification preferred.
  • Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Compensation: Competitive salary range $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
