Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant Float to assist our dentists in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Assist dentists in all aspects of chairside assisting, including draping and seating patients, preparing treatment rooms, and developing radiographs.
- Operate dental radiography equipment and apply topical agents as needed.
- Remove dressings and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Fill in as a Dental Receptionist to answer phone calls, route patients, and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
- Follow Infection Control policies, HIPAA policies, and Radiology policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform other work-related duties as required.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Dental Assistant preferred.
- California license for Registered Dental Assistant and sealant certificate required.
- Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Willingness to participate in expanded duty programs as they become operational.
- Desire to work closely with patients and staff.
- Graduation from high school required.
- Possession of State Radiological Certification required.
