We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a PreOp PACU Specialist at SCA Health. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient's preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort, including pain management and wound care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide education and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license to practice.
- One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing, with a focus on medical-surgical nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A competitive hourly rate of $40.00-$53.00.
