Job Title: Housekeeping Pounding Mill VA Hotel

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping position at the Pounding Mill VA Hotel is an individual contributor role that requires a hard-working individual with attention to detail and a passion for providing exceptional service. The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for all guests.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms, ensuring all rooms are up to company and industry standards.
- Change linens, make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum and mop floors, and replenish amenities as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, addressing any concerns and rectifying issues to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
- Assist in laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of storage rooms and supply closets.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, especially during peak seasons.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate parties.
- Attend training and meetings as required by VP Management to stay updated on company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that may require bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
