Position Summary:

The Clinical Support Associate will oversee patient flow within the clinic and assist healthcare providers in the management and treatment of patients. Patients come from diverse backgrounds and age groups, necessitating personalized care for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. The focus of the Clinical Support Associate is on collaborative, supportive, and delegated tasks as outlined in the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice. Delegable tasks and competencies are defined by the Supervising Nurse and Supervising Provider, as specified by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. The Clinical Support Associate will receive guidance and collaborate with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers to achieve the established goals of the patient, shift, department, and organization. Effective communication with the healthcare team regarding progress, concerns, inquiries, or issues that arise is a critical aspect of the Clinical Support Associate role.
