The Aluminum Welders will be integral members of a premier team dedicated to the construction of high-quality marine vessels. This role demands proficiency in aluminum MIG and TIG welding techniques, offering avenues for ongoing professional development and advancement.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated and understands the significance of commitment, teamwork, and transparency in a professional setting.

This position follows a consistent schedule of five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, commencing at 6:00 am and concluding at 2:30 pm, with potential for overtime.

Comprehensive benefits are included.

Management Responsibilities

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expertise in Aluminum MIG or TIG Welding
  • Successful completion of a Welding Assessment
  • Mandatory use of Steel Toe Footwear
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Proficient in reading tape measures and blueprints
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility to perform physical movements such as bending, twisting, turning, kneeling, squatting, and reaching overhead
  • Strong grip and pinch strength
  • Aptitude for pushing/pulling weights up to 100 pounds
  • Capacity to stand or walk for up to 8 hours daily
  • Completion of additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in TIG/MIG welding, with TIG welding being essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interpret work orders, reports, and production documentation
  • Capability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Aptitude for lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Team-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality
