Urgent Team Management is seeking a skilled, empathetic, and knowledgeable Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician or Radiology Technician to become part of our vibrant healthcare workforce. Opportunities for full-time and part-time roles are available.

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician or Radiology Technician will be responsible for welcoming patients, managing patient records, and providing assistance to both patients and healthcare professionals.

KEY DUTIES:
The following responsibilities reflect the expectations for this role but are not exhaustive. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.


• Warmly greets patients upon their arrival in waiting areas, examination rooms, and radiology facilities.

• Effectively communicates with patients regarding wait times and guides them through the treatment process.

• Addresses patient concerns and seeks assistance in urgent or hazardous situations.

• Provides timely updates on laboratory and radiology results.

• Conducts follow-up calls with a sense of urgency.

• Supports front desk staff with patient check-in and check-out procedures as needed.

• Accurately records patient vital signs, weight, and relevant medical history, including current medications and allergies.

• Aids in patient transfers and assists with procedures under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

• Prepares patients for radiological examinations while adhering to established safety and care protocols, including radiation protection measures.

• Ensures that all equipment is functioning correctly and reports any issues to the appropriate personnel.

• Completes all necessary documentation related to patient visits in accordance with established procedures.

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and ensures adequate supplies are available.

• Complies with infection control and safety guidelines, as well as patient confidentiality policies.

• Performs phlebotomy, injections, and other medical procedures as permitted by training and under the direction of a provider.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

• Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience is necessary.

• Valid State License for X-Ray operation is required.

• BLS Certification is mandatory.

This full-time role includes a sign-on/retention bonus of up to $4,000 based on licensure and experience.
