Responsibilities:

* Delivering care as instructed by a nursing supervisor, which includes:

  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, undressing, and toileting
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs, as well as assisting with height and weight measurements when necessary.

* Following the patient's care plan and aiding with daily activities, such as:

  • Feeding and meal preparation
  • Changing linens and light housekeeping
  • Providing transportation for medical appointments, outdoor activities, and shopping.

Requirements:
  • Valid state certification in good standing
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program
  • Current CPR certification and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • At least one (1) year of documented healthcare experience
  • A valid driver's license with a reliable and insured vehicle.
