Speech Language Pathologist - PRN

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a variety of settings, including their homes, communities, and workplaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
  • Perform discharge evaluations, make recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources.
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services, and family members.
  • Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care, and enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Current CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform other physical requirements of the job.
