The Medical Director at SourceMD is responsible for providing both clinical and operational oversight and leadership within the organization.
This role involves contributing to the formulation of long-term strategies and immediate actions aimed at enhancing the service line and improving the health outcomes of the populations served. This will be achieved through active participation in the establishment of clinical care standards.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the recruitment and onboarding processes for new healthcare providers, offering performance feedback and coaching to foster professional growth and retention.
- Lead and support initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and efficiency of services, while ensuring high levels of patient and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with administrative and marketing teams to attract new business and maintain existing client relationships, while identifying opportunities for growth.
- Provide expert consultative services in occupational health, including medical director services for client organizations and the development of onsite health programs.
- Act as the designated supervisor for Occupational Medicine clinics and Business Health team members, ensuring compliance and quality in service delivery.
- Fulfill the role of Medical Review Officer (MRO), which includes overseeing drug testing programs and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Supervise the medical review process and substance abuse testing initiatives across designated regions.
Qualifications:
- Active Medical Licensure in the relevant states.
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine.
- Clean medical license without sanctions from healthcare entities.
- DEA registration without restrictions.
- Required certifications including DOT and MRO, with additional certifications as needed.
- A minimum of five years of clinical experience in a relevant field.

The ideal candidate will possess strong self-motivation, exceptional communication and analytical skills, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities are essential.
