About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment.
  • Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, pots, pans, trays, and utensils.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
  • Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces, removing trash and placing it in designated containers, and steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, helping to load and unload supplies and product.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need at least one year of dishwashing experience and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
