Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Hospital in Crow Agency, MT. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to patients ranging from newborns to the elderly, addressing physical disabilities, neuro-muscular, and psychosocial dysfunction.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs, considering physical and mental conditions, cooperation, and psychological factors.
  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients referred by physicians, exercising independent professional judgment.
  • Provide physical therapy services, including planning and carrying out treatment programs to meet patient needs.
  • Review literature and prepare educational correspondence for professional staff within the service unit.
Requirements
  • Education: A graduate or higher level degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service, performing planning and carrying out a full range of treatment where therapeutic objectives are complex.
Working Conditions

This position is covered by a Bargaining Unit and may be eligible for recruitment or relocation incentives. A 6-month service agreement is required. The selected individual must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint check and background investigation. COVID-19 vaccination is required for all selectees prior to entrance on duty.
