RN Specialty Clinic Float Pool Per Diem Tacoma

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Specialty Clinic Float Pool team in Tacoma, Washington. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients on an on-call basis, adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington ambulatory Nursing Care Standards and policies.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient care needs, developing individualized plans of care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure effective care delivery.
- Provide ongoing evaluation of patient responses to care, anticipating and recognizing changes in patient status and need for nursing care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring seamless care coordination and patient education.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of professional nursing standards and multidisciplinary quality assurance activities.
- Current Registered Nurse License (Washington) or Compact License required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Ambulatory care nursing experience.
- Primary nursing or case-management experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
