Occupational Therapist

MedAdventures is seeking a skilled and compassionate Contract Occupational Therapist to join one of our largest Skilled Nursing Facility partners in Ambler, PA or Langhorne, PA locations.

The primary purpose of this job is to return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals. The successful candidate will follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration.

• Evaluate and screen residents to determine the need for Occupational Therapy.
• Establish individualized treatment programs with consultation to facility staff.
• Provide results of evaluations and treatment objectives to caregivers, family members, and residents.
• Complete all documentation as required by the fiscal intermediary, within the designated time frame.
• Implement treatment programs based on evaluative results.
• Monitor resident responses to treatment and alter treatment plans as necessary.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
