Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Rehab Therapy team at Community Health Network. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, planning, and providing therapy for patients with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their strengths and weaknesses
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises and activities to improve their functional abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited OT program
  • Valid Indiana Occupational Therapist license or temporary permit
  • Previous experience in an Inpatient Acute Care hospital setting treating adults/geriatric patients
  • Knowledge of anatomy/physiology, evaluation and therapy, theoretical concepts and techniques, current materials and technological advances, and new professional trends
