Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Nurse Educator to join our Hospice team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for our hospice staff, as well as providing support and guidance to patients and families. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs for hospice staff, including orientation, in-services, and continuing education
  • Provide support and guidance to patients and families, including assessing educational needs and developing individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in hospice care and education
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to hospice education and patient care
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan
  • 2 years of relevant experience in hospice care or a related field
  • Master's degree in Nursing Education or a related field
  • Specialty certification in Hospice and Palliative Care (HCP) or a related field
