About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours of work per week, including 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures, ensuring accurate and safe results
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members
  • Maintain patient records, including medical history and imaging results
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • Certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer
  • Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
