Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Van Driver to join our team at Diversicare Healthcare Services & Diversicare Ther. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the journey.

Responsibilities
  • Transport residents to and from medical appointments, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Accompany residents on all medical visits, staying with them until the visit is complete.
  • Observe and follow guidelines at each visit, including signing in residents, presenting their documents, and obtaining new prescriptions.
  • Report to the RCM and be prepared to answer questions concerning the visit.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications
  • Physically able to help ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents transfer to and from wheelchair to vehicle.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Qualified as a Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.).
  • Clean driving record.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Any other state required certifications.
