Environmental Underwriter

We are seeking an Underwriter, Environmental to join our Alpharetta, GA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting individual risks, demonstrating a strong understanding of coverage, terms, and conditions, and generating a profit for the company while meeting customer needs.

• Assess risk exposures, special or common hazards, and appropriate controls.
• Select risks based on exposure and risk analysis.
• Analyze claims and quantify losses.
• Understand financial statements and ratios used in risk analysis.
• Communicate articulately and make presentations.
• Use systems and software programs needed to conduct daily business.

• 1-3 years underwriting or related environmental experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of insurance industry and underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
