Cardiac Catheterization Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Specialist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be proficient in maintaining and monitoring EKG equipment.

As a Cath Lab RN, you'll work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cardiovascular surgical environment, providing assistance to the physician during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose heart conditions or as a treatment
  • Assisting with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements
  • Helping implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)

Candidates should be able to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements include:

  • ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications
  • 2 years of experience in acute care
