Join Our Team as a Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Bloomberg Finance. As a key member of our Global Compensation Team, you will be responsible for providing world-class support to our business partners by providing insight on business performance, financial oversight, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce enterprise-wide compensation reporting and analysis to provide business insights and support decision making
  • Manage regulatory requirements globally, including compiling and submitting reports, surveys, questionnaires, and filings, while ensuring timely compliance in accordance with local regulations
  • Develop, implement, and reinforce operational and financial controls, including documentation of critical processes to strengthen adherence and effectiveness of workflows
  • Partner with other team members in a collaborative environment that requires effective communication, project planning, hitting deliverables, and handling expectations
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with cross-functional partners and senior leaders
  • Work with Engineering, HRIS, and Payroll to ensure systems meet the needs of compensation
  • Work with large data sets from various systems and data sources while ensuring data integrity
  • Keep up to date on external market trends and practices with the ability to relate them to what we do
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance and/or Compensation
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Superior Microsoft Excel, data normalization, and analysis, and financial modeling skills
  • Strong attention to details to ensure accuracy while dealing with complex large data sets, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions that address the issue while being innovative and creative
  • Proven track record of being a subject matter expert, leading initiatives, and influencing stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, be a thought leader, and use good judgment
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create a story
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain your decisions to others
  • Strong project management experience with the capability of handling expectations that result in action items
Preferred Skills:
  • Technical Experience: Workday Report Writer, Microsoft VBA, SQL
