Job Overview

We are seeking a part-time Agricultural Statistic Enumerator to join our team at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. As an Agricultural Statistic Enumerator, you will play a crucial role in collecting crop and livestock information from farm operators and agricultural industry representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect data through phone and in-person interviews with farm operators and agricultural industry representatives.
  • Utilize data to make estimates of agricultural data for producers, buyers, and government agencies.
  • Work on an iPad, provided by the company, to collect and record data.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with farm operators and industry representatives.
  • Provide basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agriculture background or experience.
  • Basic knowledge of agricultural industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
