Position Overview
The reliability engineering team is dedicated to creating dependable and high-quality products. As a Hardware Reliability Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the reliability aspects of new and innovative devices. You will play a crucial role in establishing reliability standards and developing cutting-edge technologies.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience - OR -
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient understanding of reliability statistics and testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of consumer electronics to influence design choices for enhanced reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
- Develop and define new testing specifications, methodologies, and coverage to ensure product reliability.
- Identify potential product risks and collaborate with design teams to address them.
- Conduct hands-on experimental design and execution.
- Perform reliability predictions for failure mechanisms on both developing products and those already in the market.
- Collaborate with a skilled cross-disciplinary team and external partners to drive essential elements of product definition, execution, and testing.
