About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer and Administrator to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and reliable Linux-based systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Linux-based systems and infrastructure to meet the needs of our clients and projects
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides for Linux systems and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices for Linux systems and infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and infrastructure
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience as an IT Engineer in programs and contracts
  • Experience with RHEL and CENTOS Operating systems
  • Ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux systems and infrastructure
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or Information Security System Engineering
  • Security+ Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to manage installations, maintenance, and support of technical infrastructures, hardware, and system software components
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • LINUX administration Certification
Clearance
