Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Shift Leader to join our team at PPC Flex. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading your shift in manufacturing quality products while ensuring strict conformity to work instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead your production shift, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and providing guidance and support to your team members.
  • Quality Control: Drive strict compliance with quality control procedures, ensuring that products meet our high standards, and identifying and addressing any quality issues.
  • Training and Development: Train, guide, and assist associates in their roles, coordinating training programs, and ensuring timely completion of annual training requirements.
  • Operations Management: Monitor and enforce policies for operations associates, administering progressive disciplinary procedures as required, and ensuring accuracy with daily and weekly audits of payroll records.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation, supporting the company's emphasis on achieving our goals, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Four-year college degree preferred, but not required; previous supervisory/management/leadership experience in an industrial production environment with related safety training is preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Detail orientation, previous flexographic printing experience, mechanical aptitude/experience, knowledge of Windows computing programs, and experience with business operating systems are highly preferred.
  • Working Conditions: Must be able to lift and ensure proper handling of items up to 50 pounds, travel as required, and work in excess of a normal workweek with notice, as production demands dictate.
