About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Batteries Plus Bulbs. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Sell products, including batteries, light bulbs, and other accessories, to customers
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service area
  • Process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
