Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at SR COMPANIES LLC. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Executing a thorough cleaning schedule to ensure all common areas are spotless and well-maintained.
  2. Providing exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors, responding promptly to their needs and requests.
  3. Collaborating with other team members to achieve a safe and secure working environment, free from hazards and risks.
  4. Participating in leisure activities and events provided to residents, promoting a sense of community and social interaction.
  5. Assisting with meal service in the dining room, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.
  6. Performing other duties as assigned or requested, demonstrating a willingness to adapt and contribute to the team's success.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
