Overview:
The role of the adjunct faculty member is to deliver high-quality education while fostering an environment that promotes learning and encourages open dialogue on various topics and issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate lab sessions as assigned by the department.
- Be accessible to students outside of class hours to support their academic success.
- Maintain a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the classroom.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must meet the qualifications as established by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors. A Master's degree in Political Science, Government, or International Relations is required, or a Bachelor's degree in any of these fields combined with a Master's in Economics, History, Public Administration, Social Science, Sociology, or a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.
