Professional Truck Driver CDL A Class Regional Route Position

We are seeking a skilled Professional Truck Driver for our CDL A Class Regional Route position. As a valuable member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of goods across various locations.

**Job Summary:**

  • Drive and operate a tractor-trailer combination safely and efficiently to deliver cargo within a designated route area.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations regarding hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver SOLO to various locations including MI, WI, KS, PA, NJ, NY, SC, NC, OH, FL, and GA.
  • Operate a Sleeper Tractor Type, hauling 53' Dry Van, Curtainside freight.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs as required by law.
  • Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading process if required.

**Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 21 years of age.
  • Pass Ryder's Drug Test.
  • Pass Ryder's Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass DOT Physical.
  • Pass Ryder road test.
  • CDL and Endorsements for the position.
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle.
  • Ability to follow written/oral instructions.
  • Read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.

Estimated Salary: $1600 per week. The salary is based on industry standards, the job requirements, and location considerations. Note that this figure may vary depending on individual performance and market conditions.
