Tax Associate

Hantz Group, a Michigan-based financial company, is seeking a highly motivated Tax Associate to join their team. As a Tax Associate, you will play a key role in providing tax strategies and planning to clients, working closely with CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors.

• Analyze tax liability and prepare tax projections
• Collaborate with the Tax Team to assist in servicing clients
• Meet assigned goals and attend meetings and trainings
• Comply with all industry rules and regulations

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Ability to obtain Enrolled Agent designation and Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to effectively manage competing priorities, strong sense of professional and personal accountability, and highly motivated and self-starter
