Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Retail Sales Associate to join our team at AutoZone. As a Senior Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for driving sales through exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining a safe and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver WOW customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a positive customer experience.
  • Drive Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by promoting products, providing recommendations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Operate Cash Registers: Accurately operate cash registers, handle customer transactions, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing, maintaining a high level of store appearance and merchandising standards.
  • Restock Merchandise: Restock merchandise, maintain inventory levels, and ensure products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Utilize ZNET: Utilize ZNET to help customers locate merchandise, find suitable alternatives, and provide recommendations.
  • Maintain Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including current promotions, products, and services.
  • Diagnose Automobile Problems: Diagnose automobile problems, recommend solutions, and provide honest and trustworthy advice to customers.
  • Communicate with Managers: Communicate with managers regarding customer concerns, employee matters, and store operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic Knowledge of Automotive Parts: Possess basic knowledge of automotive parts, including products, services, and promotions.
  • Excellent Communication and Decision-Making Skills: Possess excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Lift, Load, and Deliver Merchandise: Possess the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to Work a Flexible Schedule: Possess the ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
