KSWIC VC Hospitals Wichita-68012 (929 N. St. Francis) is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to join their team.

Job Requirements
  • Must be AHA BLS certified
  • Nursys license verification
  • Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
  • Ascension Color Vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
  • HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics knowledge required
  • Ascension EKG Exam: Score needs to be 90% or higher with only 2 attempts
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation
  • Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding
  • Ascension Nova StatStrip training
Additional Details
  • Ascension Unit Specific Checklist is optional for onboarding
  • Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer required for certain areas
  • Annual Fit Test for all disciplines
  • Hepatitis B vaccine series completion or declination documentation
  • Influenza Vaccine required every year; no declinations or exemptions accepted
  • Positive PPD- Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire optional
  • Health Statement or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
  • Address on Driver's License/State ID must match the home state for the compact license
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) required
  • Proof of two Varicella vaccines, serological evidence of immunity, or verification of a history of varicella or herpes zoster by a healthcare provider
  • Tdap valid for 10 years from the administered date
  • Reference checks: at least two professional references before first assignment
  • Criminal Background Check Results required
  • Ascension EPLS check
  • Ascension OFAC check
  • Clinical only; Required annual skills checklist in specialty
  • 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to the start
