Company Overview:Ortho Rhode Island is a leading provider of orthopedic care, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences. As a Surgical Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the surgical scheduling department and contributing to our mission.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a medical office or practice, with a strong understanding of electronic medical records. Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients by greeting them, answering inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Scheduling surgical cases for physicians at various facilities, ensuring accurate coordination and communication.
- Maintaining and updating surgical schedules daily, confirming accurate completion of H&P and consent for each patient.
- Assisting physicians with billing submissions, communicating effectively with patients, clinical staff, and physicians.
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in a medical office or practice
- Electronic Medical Records experience
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, retirement plan, and paid time off.
