Bar Porter

We are seeking a highly skilled Bar Porter to join our team at Encore Boston Harbor. As a Bar Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of our bar and cocktail venues. This includes preparing for, during, and after guest service, ensuring all Encore Standards are implemented and applied, and delivering exceptional guest and team member experiences.

• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including polishing glassware, cleaning equipment, and sweeping and mopping floors.
• Ensure all Encore Standards are implemented and applied, including maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Deliver exceptional guest and team member experiences, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Participate in short-and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures, monitoring and evaluating operational effectiveness.
• Follow all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and property-wide controls.

• 21 years of age or above.
• Will be required to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
• ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of prior related experience preferred.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent knowledge of chemicals, SDS personal protection equipment, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines.

The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional loud noise levels. Team Members must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
