Job Title: CT Technologist - Acute Care Specialist

At HexaQuEST Health, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team in an acute care setting. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT exams and procedures for NICU, CCU, ED, and other hospital departments as requested by the medical staff.
  • Assist the Radiologist and other medical staff during exams and procedures.
  • Perform ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
  • Complete documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
  • Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure the timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T.(R) & advanced registry in CT, R.T.(CT).
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • Two (2) years of radiology experience as a registered technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of previous CT experience in a trauma center (level I or II).

Working Conditions:

  • Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Support 50 pounds of weight (patient, assist with bedside needs, etc.) Lift 50 pounds (pick up a child, transfer a patient, etc.) Carry equipment/supplies.
  • Extended Hours: The role may involve working for extended periods, requiring sitting, walking, or standing for eight or more hours daily.
  • Flexible Schedule: The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
  • On-Call Availability: On-call work may be required to respond to organizational and patient needs promptly.

Special Requirements:

  • Must be currently active in the state.
  • Minimum years of experience: 2.
  • Minimum guaranteed hours: 36.
