Job Overview

Fisher Industries is a leading provider of aggregate production and heavy civil construction services. We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Paving Foreman to oversee and manage paving operations on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage paving crews to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Plan and organize paving activities according to project specifications and engineering requirements.
  • Operate paving equipment such as paving machines, screens, rollers, backhoes, and skid steers as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, customers, and engineers to interpret and implement plans.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and identify maintenance needs.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including equipment usage and project progress.
  • Coordinate the delivery and allocation of materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Assist in training new crew members and promote a positive team environment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and provide innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Experience as an Asphalt Paving Foreman or a similar supervisory role in construction.
  • Proficiency in operating paving equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • In-depth understanding of safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
