Semi Truck Driver

The Semi Driver is responsible for operating a commercial motor vehicle to pick up raw materials, ensuring prompt and efficient customer service.

• Run established routes, pick up raw materials, and weigh in raw material when returning to the plant and weigh in and out of customer locations as needed.
• Ensure loads are tarped before leaving the plant or customer location and maintain cleanliness at customer locations.
• Conduct safety checks and inspections of the vehicle, operate it under state, federal, local regulations, and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Maintain excellent customer relations by presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
• Complete all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies (route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, mileage reports, service forms, etc).
• Maintain and update vehicle condition reports daily.
• Maintain DOT hours of service with onboard computer in accordance with company policy.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be a current CDL Class A holder with a clean MVR.
• Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/.

• Experience preferred, but not required.
• Works well with others in a team environment.
• Dependable; reliable.
• Knowledge of safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle and general maintenance.

• Constantly required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Frequently required to reach up with both arms in securing tarps, etc.
