We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at DelMonte Hotel Group. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of associates to achieve our high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the supervision of associates in the Food and Beverage Department, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality food and beverage products.
- Appraise performance, provide feedback, and coach associates to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Address complaints and resolve problems in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform job duties of host/hostess, servers, server assistants, bartenders, and barbacks as needed.
- Assign duties and shifts to associates, observing performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures.
- Ensure all sidework is completed daily in accordance with checklists.
- Open and close shifts, making cash drops as necessary, and ensuring proper cash control procedures are followed.
- Ensure all brand standards are followed, including food sanitation and proper food handling standards.
- Assist in ensuring effective departmental communication through logs, daily stand-up meetings, and monthly department meetings.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining an accurate inventory of supplies, processing guest billing issues, and handling any accounting and purchasing functions.
- One to three years' experience in a food and beverage supervisory role, with a strong background in hospitality and customer service.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive hourly rate of $16.00.
