Position Overview: We are looking for a full-time remote Orthotics Referral Care Coordinator. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at facilitating the provision of orthotic services to injured workers. The coordinator will liaise with referral sources, injured individuals, and orthotics providers to ensure the timely acquisition and delivery of orthotic products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming referrals, providing timely updates and ensuring proper authorization from payors before equipment delivery.
- Communicate effectively with referral sources, providers, and injured workers to confirm delivery and address any concerns.
- Deliver accurate pricing information to the Billing Department to maintain billing integrity.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless information flow and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Support Paradigm's mission and values through effective communication and exemplary customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data, including Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Complete necessary training and uphold professional standards in attendance and appearance.
- Foster a positive work environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Some college education or relevant experience in a related field.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Experience in Workers' Compensation is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and customer service within a call center is advantageous.
- A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare and orthotics is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in grammar and mathematics.
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with software applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities are crucial.
