About the Role
As an Assistant Solicitor General, you will be responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor violations and ensuring the fair administration of justice. You will work closely with other members of our team to investigate and prepare cases for trial, represent the State in all stages of court proceedings, and perform additional tasks related to State Court prosecutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and prepare cases for trial, including conducting initial case evaluations, reviewing case files, and analyzing evidence.
- Represent the State in all stages of court proceedings, including arraignments, preliminary and pre-trial hearings, and trials.
- Perform additional tasks related to State Court prosecutions, such as communicating with clients, victims, and witnesses, and coordinating with court administration and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor Degree required; membership and license to practice law through the Georgia State Bar Association.
- A valid driver's license is also required.

Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
