Key Responsibilities- Perform mammography procedures using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
- Position patients comfortably and safely for procedures, using proper technique and positioning to minimize discomfort and radiation exposure.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patients are informed and comfortable throughout the imaging process.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures, images, and results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT registration in mammography and radiography.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality patient care and safety.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
