Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Stone Rehab and Senior Living. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Meet Resident Needs
    • Determine the needs of all assigned residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Provide residents with excellent customer service, compassion, and care, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Assist with Daily Living Tasks
    • Assist residents with grooming, bathing, dressing, showering, toileting, and other self-care tasks, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained.
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Communicate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and resident family members, to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Ensure Resident Safety
    • Provide a safe environment for residents to achieve their optimal well-being, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Team
    • Perform as an excellent team player, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Certification and Qualifications
    • Current Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods, as well as push, pull objects, and lift/carry up to 20 lbs. unassisted and up to 50 pounds or more with assistance.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Ability to interact effectively with residents, family members, visitors, and other staff members, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
