Job Title: Wealth Management Director
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Management Director to join our team at BMO US. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing advisory-based sales and relationship management, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing proactive delivery of holistic advice and solutions designed to meet their specific financial planning needs.
- Develop and execute business development strategies, sales targets, and sales results for the assigned region.
- Develop internal and external networks and referral sources to grow business in the assigned portfolio/jurisdiction.
- Enhance presence in the marketplace by collaborating with other experts to create integrated business development plans.
- Act as the primary Relationship Manager for assigned client relationships.
- Lead/assist with creation of business proposals or presentations, including relationship plans, financial plans, and reviews.
- Produce client reports that demonstrate the value provided and assess clients at-risk for retention.
- Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
- May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.
- Proactively identifies client needs and concerns to diagnose and facilitate resolution of client issues.
- Introduces subject matter experts to the client.
- Shares wealth solutions expertise and product knowledge across regional teams.
- Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Manages resources and leads the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
- Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements, and develops roadmaps for strategic execution.
- Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
- Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders.
- Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Ensures alignment between stakeholders.
- Bridges banking, trust, and investment disciplines together for client communications when the full relationship exists.
- Breaks down strategic problems, and analyzes data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
- Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Requirements:
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MBA certification preferred.
- Experience dealing with HNW clients and equivalent knowledge base.
- Certified Financial Planner is preferred.
- Broad knowledge of all facets of wealth management.
- In-depth/expert knowledge of Bank products, services, and capabilities.
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
- Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth/Expert.

Salary: $185,500.00
Pay Type: Salaried
The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure.
