Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Immigrant Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support to immigrant and asylum seeker communities, including translation and interpretation services.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Translation and Interpretation: Provide accurate translation and interpretation services to immigrant and asylum seeker communities.
  • Case Management: Manage cases effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective communication with clients.
  • Outreach and Relationship Building: Establish and maintain close relationships with previously identified asylum seeker communities.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience working with immigrant and asylum seeker populations strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills; Ability to prioritize and multi-task several urgent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications: Proficiency in English & fluency in French required; proficiency in other West African language desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
