Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Specialist to join our team in New Braunfels, TX.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 1+ years of speech therapy experience. The successful candidate will assist in conducting screenings and assessments to identify students with speech and language concerns.

Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will implement individualized treatment plans to address communication needs. Your responsibilities will include providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings, targeting articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills.

You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals and enhance their academic performance. Additionally, you will maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
  • Completion of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State licensure or certification as an SLPA, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.
