Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef Lead to join our team at Great Wolf Lodge. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional to lead and direct the preparation and presentation of all foods in all venues of the Lodge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Manage and direct the preparation and presentation of all foods in all venues of the Lodge, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet the expectations of our guests.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and follow all local Health Department food preparation codes and regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, supervise, schedule, and participate in activities of chefs, cooks, and other pack members involved in preparing, cooking, and presenting food in accordance with merchandising and productivity standards, cost controls, and forecast needs.
  • Guest Interaction: Listen actively and communicate clearly while interacting with guests to promote food products and direct staff activities.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Experience: 5+ years of experience in restaurant kitchen(s) and 1+ year of experience in restaurant supervisory/leadership role responsible for financials, menu development, and personnel-related matters.
  • Education: High School degree or equivalent.
  • Scheduling: Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends, and Holidays as needed.
Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
